Member Appreciation Night!

The weather was absolutely perfect for Member Appreciation Night at the Racine Zoo!  After the park closed for the day, supporters of the Zoo flocked to the grounds for a night of food, activities, and fun!  Everyone enjoyed great cuisine from local restaurants, bounce houses for the kids, exploring the playground, and getting up close and personal with the animals!  The Racine Zoo does great work in our community, and it wouldn’t be possible without the support from all of it’s generous members.  Thanks to Amber and the entire Zoo Crew, and all of the friendly faces we had a chance to boogie with!  “Be Cool To Your Zoo!”

Evan’s Bar Mitzvah!

The Kenosha Public Museum was the site of Evan’s Bar Mitzvah celebration, and SSE was there for all the excitement!  Following morning services at the Temple, Evan and his family made their way to the museum for a fun afternoon of food, games, and fellowship.  After a delicious lunch, Evan shared a special dance with his Mom, and we opened up the dance floor for everyone to come out and celebrate!  Attendees enjoyed interactive games and trivia contests, and everyone had a great time with the guest of honor.  Big thanks to Kelly and our friends at the Kenosha Public Museum, and everyone who came out to give their best wishes to Evan.  Mazel Tov!

Coming Home!

Circa on Seventh was the site for Nick & Samantha’s lovely wedding celebration! We began early in the afternoon to prepare for their ceremony.  Aunt Laurie did a wonderful job officiating – there were plenty of smiles, laughs, and happy tears!  Following the exchange of vows, guests enjoyed cocktails and some funky jazz music in the background.  After a delicious dinner, we kicked up our heels on the dance floor and had a great time!  Big thanks to Kelsey, Keith, and all of our friends at Circa on Seventh, and everyone who came out to celebrate with the beautiful bride and handsome groom.  Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. C.!

Born To Be Wild!

SSE was up bright and early for the Wild 5K Run/Walk at the Racine Zoo!  It was a cool and cloudy Saturday morning, but the weather certainly didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits.  Families came out to support the Zoo and enjoy a fun morning on the shores of Lake Michigan!  Big thanks to our friends at Elite Endurance, Racine Dental Group, and everyone who worked hard to create this great event.  “Born To Be Wild!”

Cinco De Sasaki!

SSE was honored to celebrate with Steven & Casey and their family, friends, & their super-sized wedding party!  The Roma Lodge was the site of all the festivities, and played host to both the ceremony and reception.  The happy couple exchanged vows in a room filled with laughter and love.  Guests took advantage of the beautiful spring weather and enjoyed cocktails and mingling on the grounds of the Lodge.  After rounding up the wedding party, we kicked things off with a memorable grand march, and continued right into a delicious dinner!  The dance floor was packed all night long, we only wish we could have celebrated with them longer!  It was really great seeing so many SSE Alumni and friendly faces, it was a day we’ll never forget.  Big congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Sasaki!
