What A Wonderful World!

Spencer and Katie took the leap into marriage at their beautiful Leap Day wedding celebration!  The Covenant at Murray Mansion hosted the lovely ceremony and reception.  A very intimate gathering of family and friends witnessed the candlelit nuptials in the mansion.  Following passed appetizers and cocktails, guests filed into The Covenant to continue the festivities!  The official cutting of the wedding cake was sweet and touching, just like the speeches from the fathers of our bride and groom.  Culinary Infusion provided a delicious dinner buffet, and gave us all the energy we needed to dance the night away!  We received some excellent requests ahead of time, and had a blast kicking things up on the dance floor.  Big thanks to Hannah, Keith, Lexie, Buttercup Bouquets, and Josh & Lindsay from Lichter Photography – it was an awesome group effort by all!   Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. R!

OYC Chili Cook-Off 2020!

For the 5^th consecutive year, SSE was excited to DJ & MC the Oasis Youth Center’s annual Chili Cook-Off!  Competitors brought their tastiest recipes to the Parkway Chateau for a hot and spicy afternoon of fun!  Fantastic raffle prizes, silent auction items, and awesome tunes made for a wonderful event.  The mission of the Oasis Youth Center is to provide a safe place for recreation, academic assistance, and community involvement for the youth of Kenosha.  Guests came out in droves to support this worthy cause - it was the biggest and best turnout yet!  Thanks to Amber, Amy, and everyone who worked so hard to put together this great fundraiser.  “Feel The Heat!”

From Malawi To The Midwest!

SSE returned to The Stella Hotel & Ballroom for the wedding celebration of Joe & Khells!  Family and friends of our beautiful bride traveled all the way from Malawi, Africa to take part in the festivities.  Joe was really hoping for pleasant temperatures and some freshly fallen snow for the big day.  The weather couldn’t have worked out more perfectly for everyone!  Following the afternoon ceremony, guests made their way to the ballroom for cocktails and fellowship.  A rousing grand march introduction kicked things off, with four separate songs used to welcome the wedding party!  Plans came together for this celebration quickly, and it was exciting to watch the details fall into place throughout the evening.  Big thanks to Catherine and her team at The Stella for all of their assistance, we couldn’t have done it without them.  Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. N.!

Night To Shine 2020!

Made possible by the generous support of the Tim Tebow Foundation, “Night To Shine” is an incredible prom night experience for people with special needs.  For the fifth consecutive year, SSE was honored to perform for our guests of honor at Shoreland Lutheran High School!  Our Kings and Queens enjoyed a red carpet entrance, friendly paparazzi welcome, limousine rides, hair & makeup stations, karaoke, and of course…a packed dance floor!  Very special thanks to all of the student volunteers, parents, and faculty for working so hard to put together such a memorable event.  Spreading God’s love to everyone…Shine On!

Relay For Life Kickoff!

The Relay For Life of Racine kicked off their 2020 season with a special event in Downtown Racine!  The Brickhouse on Main St. was rockin’ as the Event Leadership Team welcomed this year’s team captains and participants.  Attendees enjoyed drinks and appetizers as they learned about what they can do in the fight against cancer. We heard inspiring words from cancer survivor Julie, and just how important it is to continue raising funds for research, treatment, and care.  We gave away some great door prizes, had a big winner in the 50/50 raffle, and presented our Event Lead Amy with token of appreciation for everything she does for the Relay For Life of Racine.  The “Purple Reign” has just begun!
