Bridal & Fashion Show 2023!

SSE was excited to serve as Master of Ceremonies for the Bridal & Fashion Show at Delta Hotels by Marriott Racine!  We had a great time teaming up with several fellow vendors, including our friends at Jacob Spotts Photography who captured many of the excellent pictures in this post.  Attendees were able to participate in make-up, hair, and dance demos, enjoy catering samples, and experience the interactive fashion show in the Grand Ballroom sponsored by David’s Bridal.  Big thanks to Roxanne, Chelsee, Jacob, and everyone who helped make this a very special day for many future newlyweds!

Best Love Song!

Haley and Matthew were married at Upper East in Downtown Kenosha, and SSE was honored to celebrate with them!  Willow Design provided the florals and a stunning presentation throughout the entire venue!  Dave Nelson did a fantastic job officiating the ceremony, with plenty of laughs and sweet memories shared throughout the service.  Over 200 guests then made their way downstairs to Public Craft Brewing Co. while Kelsey, Katie, Madison, and the Upper East team prepared the room for dinner service.  Following the grand march introductions we were treated to some amazing speeches from the family and wedding party.  Executive Chef Steve and the entire kitchen staff prepared an amazing feast for everyone to enjoy – it was excellent as always! Our first dances of the evening started right on time, and we had a blast on the dance floor until the end!  Big thanks to Trish for her assistance throughout the day, our friends at Corrina Nicole Photography, Kayla & Elisha at Upper East, and everyone who came out to celebrate with the newlyweds.  Big congratulations to The Christensens!

Relay Kickoff 2023!

The Relay for Life of Racine is planning their 30^th annual event, and SSE was there for the big kickoff celebration!  Buckets Pub was the place to be on Wednesday evening as cancer fighters, caregivers, volunteers, community members, team captains, team members, local businesses, and the Event Leadership Team gathered to make plans for the best Relay yet.  This year’s Relay theme is “Pirates of the Cure-ibbean” and takes place at the newly renovated Campus Park in Mount Pleasant.  Big thanks to Maddie, Amy, Lauri, the entire ELT, and everyone who came out to launch another Relay season in Racine!

Where It All Begins Again!

It was an event 50 years in the making, and SSE was absolutely thrilled to be a part of it!  Surrounded by their children and grandchildren, Ed & Jan once again exchanged vows, rings, laughs, and happy tears at Bethania Lutheran Church in Racine.  Ed surprised Jan with an organist playing for her as she made her way down the aisle, and the look on her face was priceless!  They both had their wedding rings refurbished, and reaffirmed the promises they made in the same church – on the same day – exactly 50 years later.  Following the service, we all made our way to Infusino’s Banquet Hall to continue the celebration!  Over 160 guests came to give their best wishes and were treated to another big surprise.  Ed and the boys put together a choreographed performance of “My Girl” by The Temptations - and they brought the house down!  Everyone enjoyed the great food from Diane and her crew, and before long it was time to open up the floor and dance the night away!  The entire Brown family contributed to the planning and preparation of this awesome day, and our Operations Manager Lauri worked hard behind the scenes to make sure all the details came together flawlessly.  Big congrats to Ed & Jan on fifty fantastic years, it was an honor to share in your special day!
