Take My Name!

The Gage in Milwaukee was the site of Alex & Emily’s amazing wedding festivities, and we’ll never forget it!  We arrived early in the afternoon to prepare, and it was a real treat to be greeted by our fellow vendors and good friends from Lichter Photography and JY Films. The event team at The Gage was very helpful and made sure the 3:30 ceremony went off without a hitch.  Highlights of the service included a special message from Bob Hastings, and wine box unity ceremony.  After the vows, guests made their way up the staircase for cocktails, fellowship, and fresh air out on the balcony.  Before long, it was time to to continue our celebration and enjoy a delicious dinner.  Instead of clinking glasses, Emily & Alex suggested that donations be made to Mathias Academy’s Tri-My-Best adaptive triathlon – what an outstanding idea!  Instead of the traditional garter and bouquet toss, we had a blast with an exciting football toss - ”Good Catch…You’re Next!”  Kwik Trip provided the late night snacks and gave everyone all the fuel they needed to keep the dance floor packed all night long.  Special thanks to Lynn & Scott, Patti & Paul, the entire vendor team, the wedding party, and everyone who came to kick up their heels and give their best wishes to the new Mr. & Mrs. K.!  Congratulations!

Chapel of Love!

SSE was thrilled to take part in Gabriela and Joshua’s beautiful wedding ceremony and reception in downtown Kenosha!  Bradford Community Church was the location of their touching ceremony led by officiant Lisa Kurman.  The look of happiness and excitement on the faces of the bride and groom said it all!  Following the vows, guests made a short walk to The Stella & Hotel and Ballroom to continue the festivities.  Dameon and the entire event staff at The Stella always do a fantastic job, and tonight was no exception!  Toasts from our Best Man and Maid of Honor were expertly delivered, and served as the perfect transition into the first dances of the evening.  We enjoyed sweet treats, a late night snack station, and an unforgettable sparkler send-off!  After the fireworks, Gabrie & Josh snuck back into the ballroom for one private, final dance of the evening – what a moment!  Thanks again to everyone at The Stella Hotel & Ballroom, the Navarro and Simmons families, and everyone who came out to celebrate with the newlyweds!

Let Freedom Ring!

Since 2007, SSE has been honored to take part in the Somers Independence Day Parade!  We set up our outdoor system in the parking lot of Shoreland Lutheran High School to provide music and entertainment, while dozens of floats and hundreds of parade participants made their preparations.  The Pacer Patrons did a great job with concessions and refreshments, and everyone enjoyed fellowship and fun before heading out on the parade route.  We are always proud to participate in the best small-town parade around.  God Bless the USA!

Baby I’m Yours!

The Covenant at Murray Mansion was the site of Sarah & Matthew’s beautiful Sunday wedding ceremony and celebration!  Tim did an amazing job leading the faith-centered service, with a very touching and personal message for everyone in attendance.  After the vows, guests made their way into historic Murray Mansion for cocktails and fellowship, while the wedding party took photos, and The Covenant was prepared for dinner service.  Keith and the entire kitchen crew did an amazing job as always – what a feast!  Guests of all ages filled the dance floor from the first dance to the last, this impressive group definitely brought the energy!  Big thanks to Sydney, Maddie, Heather, the Culinary Infusion event staff, and to Sarah & Matthew’s family and friends for being so kind and welcoming.  Congrats once again to the new Mr. & Mrs. M.!

Amazed!

Ruth and Troy celebrated their marriage at TinCan Roadhouse in Union Grove, and SSE was there for the party!  Following the afternoon ceremony in Mukwonago, guests arrived at the Roadhouse ready to kick up their heels and have a great time!  When dinner service was ready, we began the festivities with the bride and groom’s first dance – what a moment!  After a delicious feast, we continued with family specialty dances, including a very memorable anniversary dance.  The floor was packed all night long, we had a fantastic time with this amazing group!  Big thanks to Aly & Anthony, the staff at TinCan Roadhouse, and everyone who came to give their best wishes to the new Mr. & Mrs. P!  Congrats!
